This is the ultimate guide to EoS Fitness! All of our expertise is summarized on this page—giving you everything you need to know about the gym chain.
EoS Fitness is a full amenity, has-it-all type of gym that is all the rage in Southern California, Las Vegas and more. Members of EoS are truly spoiled by all the different services and features, here's what we mean:
And that's just the tip of the iceberg for EoS. You can also expect to experience all your standard gym equipment:
EoS Fitness was founded in 2015. The gym chain is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The current CEO of EoS Fitness is Rich Drengberg.
Just 9 of them aren't, unfortunately. Exact hours vary at these clubs, but they're usually open:

My goodness. With so much to love about EoS, it's going to be a bit hard to fit it all in. This gym chain focuses on providing extreme value for their members, and at an amazing value/price. The amenities are also widespread, meaning you can expect a similar experience no matter which location you select.
At least 72 of their total 79 gyms will have all of the following: sauna, childcare, turf area and an Olympic lifting platform. These are four of our most requested amenities!
We love their extremely competitive pricing options. They clearly state on their website their HVLP "high-value-low-price" mantra, with many locations down to $9.99 a month.
They offer newer, trendier and popular amenities—at the majority of their clubs. Pick from cardio cinema, massage chairs, towel service, hot tub and a pool. Don't forget that 90% of their locations are open 24-hours-a-day, wow!
There's not a whole lot more we'd want from EoS. Members of this chain must love their offerings, and we're hard pressed to find some things to improve. Let's try!
We'll talk about this at our recap at the bottom of this page, but many reviews and comments from their members talk of packed and busy gyms. Our friends in Las Vegas have mentioned the same during their visits.
More locations had a basketball court (which could also double for volleyball and pickleball)! Just about 1/3 of their gyms have a hoop (25 of 79).
Tanning was available, at any of their gyms. This would put them in great position to compete with Crunch and Planet Fitness.
Competitive pricing can be found at EoS Fitness. At the top of their FAQ page on their website, a clear statement that "many EoS locations start at $9.99 / month... with select Phoenix and California locations at $15.99 /month."
That puts Anytime and Planet Fitness squarely as competitors to EoS. There are some pretty high initiation fees ranging from $49 to $149 to get started, but we've seen specials and deals—bringing both of those down to $1 at times.
Pricing is "regional" or "area specific" —just like every other gym chain out there—so know that if you're in a high cost metro, the rock bottom $9.99 (mid $22.99 and high $26.99) will likely cost more.
There is a yearly $49.00 annual fee "so we can continue to bring you new fitness offerings, new cutting-edge equipment..."
We all have different bodies, different goals and different fitness journeys. Some gyms may fit a person better than others. So who would enjoy this gym most?

Gym Pricing Tiers Explained
There are 3-4 main pricing tiers that nearly all gyms across the country fall into. Generally, higher prices = more amenities and services.
$10 - $25 /month — Value
$15 - $30 /month — High Value Low Price
$25 - $65 Monthly — Mid-Tier
$65 and up — Boutique/Specialty/Luxury

EoS has been making quite the noise in the gym and fitness industry. They're clear as day in their HVLP (high-value-low-price) approach, with the tagline "Better Gym. Better Price" plastered all over their website. We're seeing them extend their reach, with (43!!) locations planned or opening in 2024. They offer a compelling gym experience, and they're a serious player that nearly everyone should consider if a location is nearby.
Those in Las Vegas are spoiled first, with gyms in the area offering up saunas, pools and childcare. And in such a busy city open late night—well, EoS is there for them with 24-hour locations too. Anecdotal evidence from friends in that city? EoS locations are consistently packed—take that as a good and bad of course.
They've got a growing foothold in competitive Los Angeles and San Diego, with planned locations setup in Utah, Texas and Florida. These are huge expansion plans, even to the point of questioning if it's possible.
These things can matter for the everyday gym-goer, as—having worked for a big box corporate gym chain for over 10 years—when you grow too fast, things can break. Heck, I can't even load the EoS site properly right now. But things like customer care short staffing, broken equipment backorders, and overall reduced quality in classes, pool maintenance and more—all adds up.
But, back to the positives because there are so many! Those who would enjoy EoS are folks from all walks of life and would use their:
The list of amenities is large and comprehensive, and also available at the majority of their gyms.
Looking at price, there is a stunningly low $9.99 month Basic option in some areas, climbing to $22.99 for Blue and $26.99 for Black. That is uh—unheard of—when you compare to fast-fitness chains such as Anytime and Planet. We can't think of too many reasons why to select those two over EoS, except maybe that "gym is too packed" possibility.
So they've tackled the value side, and nailed the pricing side. It's a package that their members are definitely happy with. What again was their tagline? "Better Gym. Better Price." Safe to say EoS is sticking true to their word. Worth it? Absolutely.
